Every new Eastside Hounds dog starts with a First Adventure & Pack Readiness Assessment — $125. We want to understand your dog as an individual before inviting them into regular pack hikes.
Before pickup
You'll tell us about your dog's routine, social history, leash habits, health needs and neighborhood. We'll confirm whether home pickup is available and explain scheduling details.
During the introduction
We observe how your dog handles a new setting, responds to guidance, manages excitement and feels around other dogs. We adjust the experience to your dog's comfort rather than pushing for a fixed distance or a particular result.
Afterward: a clear next step
Our team will discuss whether regular group hikes appear appropriate, whether a gradual approach or more training could help, or whether another activity may be better suited.
When your dog joins the pack
Approved dogs can enjoy $65 regular hikes with round-trip home pickup and drop-off, or choose a 10-hike or 20-hike package. Contact Eastside Hounds to begin.
